# Review, repair and completion

These are answer checks, not an assertion that a learner's work has passed.

## Audit

- Find the exact elements supporting each observation.
- Distinguish the old page from the authoritative brief.
- Preserve the accurate service list.
- Identify the unsupported price, timing and broad service claim; missing location/appointment conditions; and source-observable absent fragment targets.
- Keep consequences as reasoned possibilities. No measured lost sales, low traffic, conversion score or full accessibility conclusion follows from these inputs.
- State which browser checks, if any, actually ran.

## Copy

- B1–B5 remain consistent across opening, services, process and action.
- Exclusions remain visible; no invented address or prices fill missing facts.
- The quote follows seeing the garment; the request does not reserve an appointment.
- The teaching limitation is visible where a reader might otherwise expect a real receiving path.
- Source notes remain outside customer copy.

## Typical failed draft and repair

Bad draft: “Walk into our Station Quarter studio today for a free fitting. Most alterations are ready tomorrow.”

Why it fails: Station Quarter is supplied, but walk-in availability, a free fitting and a turnaround are not. A sentence can mix one true detail with three unsupported promises.

Repair: “Visits are by appointment. We provide a quote after seeing the garment.” Keep the request-preparation text alongside it so the reader understands the next step.

Bad report: “Your broken booking button costs you customers.”

Repair: “The source link points to #visit, but this supplied file has no element with that ID. Add the intended section and test the link.” This explains the observed issue without inventing a business result.

## Inspect the reference implementation

Open `preview.html`, switch between before/after, and try a narrow view. On the after page, activate “Services” and “Prepare a request”; each should reach its named section. The before fixture deliberately has two missing targets. The after page contains no form submission or receiving integration. The preview's width setting changes its frame, not the visitor's device.

If you only read HTML, record source checks only. If you opened and clicked, record the browser, width and actions actually exercised. Keep your own evidence note separate from the authored report.

## Finish

Save your report, copy, one correction note, source brief and check record. Repeat the changed-input task. A successful result preserves meaning and evidence boundaries; it need not reproduce this answer's prose.
